Job Description

Join our consulting team to deliver high-impact solutions across risk, compliance, and operations transformation. In this role, you'll work directly with clients to map how compliance and operational processes actually work, identify where they break down or create risk, and design better processes, then find the right opportunities to layer in AI to make them faster, more accurate, and more scalable.

You'll operate in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, balancing independent ownership with strong collaboration across teams. This role is ideal for people with experience in technology and/or fintech environments, particularly within regulated or compliance-driven contexts, who also bring a genuine interest in where AI can realistically improve how compliance work gets done.

What You'll Do

  • Risk & Compliance Process Design

    • Map and diagnose compliance and operational processes end to end to pinpoint where they break down or create risk

    • Lead the design and implementation of improved frameworks, systems, and processes, including defining data requirements and analyzing performance trends across operational, logical, and system workflows

  • AI Opportunity Identification
    • Evaluate compliance and operational processes to identify practical AI and automation use cases, from workflow automation to agentic AI

    • Build the business case for where these use cases will actually reduce risk or improve efficiency

  • Client Delivery & Execution

    • Lead client engagements, both onsite and remotely, delivering high-quality workstreams and producing complex, client-ready deliverables

  • Project & Workstream Management

    • Manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and coordinate activities across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

    • Build strong client relationships and confidently present insights, recommendations, and AI-enabled process improvements to stakeholders, including senior leadership

  • Business Analysis & Problem Solving

    • Analyze client challenges using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to develop structured, actionable solutions

  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship

    • Collaborate with and mentor team members on tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)

  • Documentation & Knowledge Management

    • Maintain clear and organized project documentation to ensure transparency, continuity, and knowledge sharing

  • Thought Leadership & Practice Development

    • Drive thought leadership by shaping internal initiatives, sharing knowledge, and building firm capabilities around AI in risk and compliance

  • Business Development Support

    • Shape proposal development, identify new opportunities, and drive broader business development efforts

  • Meeting Facilitation

    • Lead effective meetings with both internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment and clear next steps

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 4-7 years of client-facing management consulting experience, preferably within technology or fintech environments

  • Experience supporting or delivering risk, compliance, or regulatory-related initiatives

  • Practical experience with AI adoption, workflow automation, or identifying AI use cases within a business or compliance context, not just familiarity with the concept

  • Strong understanding of industry challenges within technology, fintech, or regulated environments

  • Proven ability to build and manage client relationships

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex ideas clearly

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including knowing when to escalate issues

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred

  • Master's degree or MBA

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, or technology-driven organizations

  • Exposure to areas such as risk management, compliance, financial crimes, or regulatory programs

  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools to compliance, risk, or operational workflows (actual use, not certification-level)

  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or process improvement methodologies

  • Exposure to agentic AI concepts and their application to compliance or operational processes

What Sets You Apart

  • A systems thinker who can see how a compliance process connects end to end and where risk or inefficiency creeps in

  • Genuine curiosity about AI, grounded in practical outcomes for risk and compliance work

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in client environments

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous settings with evolving priorities

  • Ability to translate complex problems into structured, actionable solutions

  • Interest in growing into leadership responsibilities and contributing to team development

  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and emerging trends
