Description :
• Define, implement and maintain the data architecture, ensuring it meets Business requirements and remains fully consistent with the global IS architecture, Data Governance principles, and DBV’s standards.
• Ensure Data architecture compliance, performance, sustainability, alignment with business needs, and optimization of the data lifecycle.
• Design, implement, oversee and maintain the data integration platform.
• Design, build, oversee and maintain the enterprise's Master Data Management solution.
Location : Warren, New Jersey - minimum 3 days on site
Salary Range : $160-185k
Key Responsibilities :
Data Architecture & Data management:
• Define, implement and maintain the data architecture, ensuring it meets Business requirements and remains fully consistent with the global IS architecture, Data Governance principles, and DBV’s standards.
• Build and maintain data architecture standards and frameworks.
• Collaborate with IS team and Business leaders on enterprise data strategy.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation and system mapping across business units.
• Define and maintain rules, policies, and standards related to data availability, integrity, confidentiality, traceability and storage.
• Ensure Data architecture compliance (with regulatory requirements, privacy and security policies), performance, sustainability, alignment with business needs, and optimization of the data lifecycle.
• Put in place and lead data governance including data quality, stewardship and lineage.
• Coordinate Data teams and ensure proper governance.
• Contribute to technology decisions supporting the data lifecycle.
• Select, implement, and maintain appropriate storage solutions, including data lakes, warehouse, and cloud platform.
Data Integration Platform:
• Design, implement, oversee and maintain the data integration platform.
Master Data Management Solution:
• Design, build, oversee and maintain the enterprise's Master Data Management solution.
• Maintain continuous technology watch.
Qualifications :
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data, Information Systems, or Engineering (Master’s degree / Engineering School / University).
• Significant experience in Data architecture, Data governance, and implementation of Cloud analytics platforms.
• Experience designing and deploying Data solutions within Azure / Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional Data projects and coordinating business and IT teams.
• Strong understanding of data quality, security, compliance, and data lifecycle management challenges.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Deep knowledge of MDM, data catalogs, or metadata governance tools
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azur Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Power BI, pipelines, and notebooks.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, data integration & ingestion (ETL/ELT, APIs, SFTP, Blob Storage).
• Azure Cloud architecture: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure AD.
• Data governance and security: RBAC, RLS, traceability, and data quality management.
• Data flow management and orchestration of data processing.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI/Data Visualization tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and security best practices.
• Background in regulated industries with complex compliance needs.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes: reporting, financial KPIs, master/reference data, and controlling.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes: procurement, logistics, inventory, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing use cases: media campaigns, analytics, CRM, segmentation, social/search data, and performance marketing.
• Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable and governed Data solutions.
