Product Owner – Portfolio Analysis & Position Management 80%-100% (f/m/d)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Owner to lead the evolution of our core Position Management and Portfolio Analysis platform (Temenos Triple A). This business-critical system serves as the single source of truth for client holdings, performance reporting, and analytical insights across Julius Baer’s digital ecosystem—supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.
In this key role, you will define the global product strategy, target architecture, and delivery roadmap in close collaboration with business units, IT leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and international stakeholders within our Agile Release Train (ART) framework. Reporting into the Digital Business Transformation unit under the COO Office, you will lead a cross-functional, global team responsible for driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the platform.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Key Responsibilities
• Take end-to-end ownership of the Position Management and Portfolio Analysis platform, balancing feature delivery, technical enhancement, and production stability.
• Define and communicate a clear, future-ready product vision, target state, and multi-year roadmap, aligned with group-wide business objectives and technology standards.
• Collaborate closely with business partners, architects, and engineering teams to prioritise and deliver high-value capabilities—including advanced valuation methods,
performance attribution, risk-adjusted returns and cash flow analytics.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release coordination within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, ensuring timely and quality-driven delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business and technology stakeholders; facilitate decision-making and manage expectations across geographies and functions.
• Champion DevOps and continuous improvement principles to enhance system resilience, scalability, and automation.

• Serve as the final gatekeeper during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring all solutions meet functional, performance, compliance, and usability requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product ownership or product management, ideally within wealth management, asset management, or investment operations.
• In-depth understanding of portfolio accounting concepts, including position valuation, performance measurement, accruals calculation, cashflow analysis and transaction processing.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with the Temenos Triple A platform is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in delivering complex technical projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing distributed teams in a global, multicultural environment; familiarity with APAC, EMEA, and nearshore delivery models is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and influence without direct authority.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
