Job Description

Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

UiPath’s strongest opportunities often sit between functions. This role helps the CEO and Executive Leadership Team turn those opportunities into focused action.

As Director, Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the CEO, you will lead priority projects, support executive decision-making, and help make sure the company’s strategy translates into measurable progress.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable moving between analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution.

What you’ll do at UiPath

  • Support the CEO with research, analysis, and preparation for strategic decisions.

  • Lead defined enterprise initiatives from problem definition through delivery, working closely with functional leaders and project owners.

  • Develop business cases, options and recommendations for growth, operating effectiveness, customer value and transformation priorities.

  • Create simple, effective project plans with clear outcomes, owners, timelines, and risks.

  • Prepare materials for executive meetings, planning sessions, and strategic off sites.

  • Analyze company, customer, and market information to identify insights that should inform leadership decisions.

  • Track progress against agreed initiatives and provide clear updates on outcomes, blockers, and decisions required.

  • Help improve cross-functional ways of working, ensuring decisions are communicated and acted on.

  • Take on special projects for the CEO’s office as business needs to evolve.

What you’ll bring to our team

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, strategic finance or a related role.

  • Management consulting experience is preferred, particularly where it included structured problem-solving, senior client exposure and delivery of complex transformation work.

  • Product and technical fluency: Strong working understanding of enterprise software platforms, product development, and AI. Able to understand UiPath’s platform end to end, engage credibly with Product and Engineering leaders, and translate technical concepts, priorities and trade-offs into clear CEO-level decisions and communication

  • Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, AI or another fast-moving technology environment is desirable.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data and qualitative input into a clear story.

  • A practical, delivery-oriented mindset. You are comfortable owning the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders.

  • Clear, concise writing and presentation skills.

  • Curiosity, humility, and the judgement to know when to push for a decision and when to seek more input.

Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.

Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done. Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and there is no fixed deadline for this requisition.
