Job Description:  

Tria Federal (Tria) is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team of dynamic healthcare consulting professionals. Our consultants play a critical role in the continued long-term growth of the company and spend a significant amount of time interacting with clients, coordinating and leading project team members and developing and contributing to work products and contract deliverables. We are looking for candidates who possess a tendency towards action, have innovative ideas and the ability to anticipate a client’s needs to achieve extraordinary results.

Basic Requirements:   

  • 7+ years of experience as a consultant preferably in a federal consulting environment required. Healthcare operations experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Knowledge and a working understanding of business processes and/or operations within the healthcare industry (commercial or federal). 
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables in tight time frames. 
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. 
  • Microsoft Office mastery (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in database engineering. 
  • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and other relevant AWS services. 
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language for database development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar). 
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. 
  • Strong understanding of database security best practices. 
  • Familiarity with SQL and database design. 
  • Proficient in Java languages. 
  • Experience working with related areas, such as HL7, Cache, MSSQL PostgreSQL, and XML. 
  • JIRA Agile project management tool. 
  • Git/GitHub repository. 
  • AWS Certified Database Specialty, Azure Database Administrator, etc. 

 

Additional Qualifications:  

  • Successful experience creating professional, executive level products using Microsoft tools. 
  • Successful experience with professional virtual presentations. 
  • Successful experience in directly supporting healthcare leaders accomplish their strategic and professional goals. 
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification. 
  • Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field ideal. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Ability to assess a client’s organization, strategic goals, governance structure and overall environment to facilitate delivery as well as contract renewals, expansion and new business opportunities. 
  • Evaluate evolving market trends to identify impact to client business operations and shares knowledge both internally and externally, as appropriate. 
  • Actively lead project teams, providing strong leadership and feedback regarding work products, client needs and internal deliverables. 
  • Inform leadership and the client of project status.   
  • Manage client relationships, including, communications, risk mitigation, stakeholder management and strategic development. 
  • Oversee project resources and identify and bridge any resource gaps. 
  • Deliver effective internal and external presentations and skillfully facilitate client and internal meetings. 
  • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks and utilizing available resources.

Public Trust Clearance: 

Many of our roles require the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.  

Work Location: 

Tria Federal, operates primarily in the Eastern Time Zone, with standard work hours from 9 AM – 5 PM ET and flexibility around start and end times based on team needs. We have open-collaboration offices in Arlington, VA, and Baltimore, MD for those who prefer to work on-site. 

Please Note: Work location requirements vary by program. While many roles support remote work, some projects may require partial or full on-site presence based on contract and client needs. Specific work location expectations will be communicated during the hiring process.
