Job Description

At Two Six Technologies, we build, deploy, and implement innovative products that solve the world’s most complex challenges today. Through unrivaled collaboration and unwavering trust, we push the boundaries of what’s possible to empower our team and support our customers in building a safer global future.

Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Security to lead the Department of War (DoW) side of our security operations. Reporting to the Director of Security, you will be responsible for the administration and execution of our classified programs, ensuring that our security posture supports the company's growth and mission requirements while remaining in full compliance with government regulations.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a multidisciplinary security professional. We are looking for a leader who can navigate the intersections of physical and information security with ease. You must be comfortable pivoting from a facility accreditation meeting to a complex SAP technical issue, and then to a strategic proposal review, all while maintaining a cohesive and compliant security posture.

The role requires working on-site in our Arlington, VA HQ office.

What you will do:

  • Multidisciplinary Integration: Serve as the primary point of convergence for all DoW security functions. You will integrate the efforts of INFOSEC and Physical Security to ensure there are no gaps in coverage and that the lapped requirements of SAP, SCI, and Collateral programs are handled seamlessly.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily workflows for Information Security (INFOSEC) and Physical Security. You will be responsible for developing and adapting the processes and tracking systems that ensure the DoW portfolio operates efficiently and accurately.
  • Stakeholder Synchronization: Act as the primary liaison between security operations and internal stakeholders (Business Development, Program Management, and Executives) as well as external government customers (DCSA, PSRs, and PSOs).
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and manage the DoW security staff. You will be responsible for workload distribution, performance management, and the professional development of your team.
  • Secure Facility & Inventory Management: Direct the physical and administrative integrity of all DoW-accredited secure environments. This includes:
    • Managing Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and the accreditation process for SAPFs and SCIFs.
    • Establishing and maintaining a rigorous inventory management system for all secure assets, overseeing the formal assignment, issuance, and tracking of classified hardware and materials.
    • Directing the management of GSA-approved container inventories and combination control.
  • Compliance & Audit Oversight: Lead the execution of bi-annual self-inspections and coordinate government audits. You will be responsible for developing remediation plans and tracking them to closure to ensure continuous audit-readiness.
  • Enterprise Alignment: Ensure that the DoW security posture is synchronized with the company’s overall security policies, providing a consistent and seamless experience for employees and customers across all program portfolios.
  • Proposal Support: Collaborate with the Business Development team to review government and commercial proposals and draft the required security volumes.
  • HQ Operations: Manage the daily operations of the Arlington DOD SCIF and SAP-F, including oversight of the cleared guard force.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of experience on Security teams for DoW or IC community contractors, with focus on Collateral, SCI, and SAP.
  • Multidisciplinary Expertise: Proven ability to lead across multiple security domains. You must be equally proficient in the nuances of PHYSEC and INFOSEC to ensure a holistic approach to program protection.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience supervising and managing a professional security team of 5 or more staff members.
  • Secure Space Expertise: Direct experience managing the physical and administrative requirements of DoD-accredited SCIFs and SAPFs, including facility accreditations and rigorous asset inventory control.
  • SAP Specialization: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex SAP programs.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals, NISP 32 CFR, ICDs, and other applicable security regulations.
  • Certification: Completion of the DSS FSO Program Management for Possessing Facility Curriculum.
  • Functional Breadth: Comprehensive working knowledge of industrial security functions, including, COMSEC, OPSEC, and Insider Threat programs.

Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCI with SAP eligibility; must be able to obtain CI Poly.
