Methodology

  • Figures come from live job listings in the SleepHire index that disclose a salary range — scraped from company career pages, not self-reported surveys.
  • All figures are gross (pre-tax) — the salary advertised on the listing, before income tax and deductions. Each is normalised to an annualised USD equivalent using the midpoint of the published range; percentiles use continuous interpolation.
  • Only fully-remote roles are counted. A role appears once duplicates across boards are removed.
  • The data refreshes daily; filled or expired roles drop out automatically, so the numbers track the current market.
  • Sample bias: roles that disclose pay skew toward companies with transparent comp and US/EU-pegged bands, so medians may run higher than the true global market.
