Software Engineer II, Global Money Movement

Every Remitly transfer, from any product, in any market, ends the same way: money has to actually move. The Global Money Movement team builds and maintains the platform that customer-facing product lines use to move money between our customers and their recipients across borders, through a broad network of external banking and payment partners. As a Software Development Engineer II on the Money Movement team in Krakow, you will build the services that orchestrate those flows: the APIs that product lines call to move money, the integrations with external partners that execute the movement, and the reporting that keeps our financial systems correct. This is real integration work with external banking and payment partners, the kind engineers rarely get to do at this level. You will work closely with stakeholders across time zones, designing and implementing effective solutions with a strong focus on customer impact. We have no dedicated QA, so you own the quality and operational health of what you ship. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Poland. You will work on a platform the whole company builds on: decisions you make affect every product line, not just one. You will work alongside experienced technical leadership, with room to learn and real ownership from day one, in a global and diverse environment with cross-timezone collaboration and travel opportunities. And you will do real integrations with external banking and payment partners, exposure that is rare in typical backend roles at this level.
