Our Summer Internship Program is designed for students entering their final year of university who are eager to gain meaningful, real-world experience in a fast paced, collaborative, and professional environment.

As a Summer Intern, you'll participate in a comprehensive onboarding experience led by our University Relations team to set you up for success from day one. Throughout the program, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in weekly professional development sessions, networking events, social activities, and other engaging experienced designed to support your personal and professional growth.

The program takes place from June – August 2027 (10-week program).

Your Role

Join Veeam’s People & Culture organization as a People & Culture AI Transformation Intern, helping our global People & Culture team adopt AI in a strategic, responsible, and high-impact way. On this team, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, enablement, and operations — turning AI learnings into reusable resources, supporting AI workflow and agent prototyping, and helping track adoption and impact.

This is a rare internship where you won’t just “use AI” — you’ll help build the systems and playbooks that scale AI across an enterprise human resources organization, accelerating the path from idea → prototype → pilot. If you enjoy organizing messy information into clear frameworks, testing tools, and shipping practical assets people actually use, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Prototype AI workflows & agents: help design, test, and document lightweight workflows using tools like M365 Copilot, VeeamGPT, Claude, and other video, image and LLM-based tools.
  • Turn enablement into durable assets: support development of practical real-time and self-guided enablement learning and convert into durable assets such as checklists, templates, quick-start guides, and role-based playbook content HR practitioners can reuse.
  • Build the HR AI knowledge foundation: help organize and maintain our agent/workflow library, enablement assets and supporting documentation in SharePoint for easy discovery and reuse.
  • Support the idea → prototype → pilot pipeline: assist with intake hygiene, status updates, and lightweight project tracking so work stays unblocked and visible.
  • Measure what matters: help track adoption signals and basic impact metrics using Excel and dashboards (e.g., usage, enablement engagement, pilot progress).
  • Capture requirements clearly: partner with HR practitioners across functions to ask smart questions, document needs, and translate them into structured next steps.
  • Improve quality + brand safety: evaluate AI outputs for gaps or inconsistencies and help iterate toward higher-quality, on-brand results.
  • Ship portfolio-worthy work: contribute assets that can be shared internally as repeatable frameworks and examples of scaled HR AI enablement.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering or another related field
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (must-have): you’ve used tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or similar for school, work, or personal projects.
  • Curiosity about how AI is changing how individuals, teams and businesses work — and the judgment to use it thoughtfully and responsibly.
  • Comfortable exploring new tools, working through ambiguity, and making progress without step-by-step instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to simplify complex ideas for different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (you keep docs, tasks, and follow-ups clean)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic formulas, tables, simple charts).
  • Able to evaluate AI outputs, spot issues, and iterate quickly toward better results.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with stakeholders across HR functions and time zones.

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Built simple automations in Power Automate, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar tools.
  • Experience chaining prompts/steps (multi‑stage workflows) to complete more complex tasks.
  • Exposure to APIs or technical tooling (coursework or conceptual understanding is fine).

Benefits

As a paid intern at Veeam, you’ll receive:

  • Paid Company Holidays during your internship
  • Tech Stipend to help set up your workspace
  • 8 Hours of Paid Volunteer Time through our Veeam Cares Program
  • Personal and Professional Development through our Internship Program

We’re committed to providing a supportive and rewarding internship experience.
